Little Book Club

The Little Book Club is a pre-literacy class for our youngest students, ages 1 (walkers) to 4 years. Among introducing literacy skills, the club aims to cultivate a lifelong love for reading and provide social interaction opportunities for children to develop valuable interpersonal skills. Each class includes a read-aloud, craft, sensory bin and more! Find our Little Book Club schedule below and more info on our instagram.

Fall 2025 Classes

Little and Baby Book Club classes are now live for Fall. Below you’ll find our Sawyer calendar with all of our CITY class locations. If you’re looking for our Little Book Club suburbs classes, you can find them here:

  • Northbrook Park District

    • Thursdays at 9:45am and 10:40am

    • Class Session runs from September 3 to October 22nd

    • Northbrook Community Center

  • Wilmette Park District

    • Tuesdays at 9:45am

    • Class Session runs from August 25th to October 13th

    • Wilmette Community Center

  • Evanston Park District

    • Fridays at 9:45am (*registration opens 8/10)

    • Class Session runs from September 18th to November 6th

    • Chandler Newberg Community Center

Baby Book Club

Baby Book Club is a literacy-based sensory class perfect for ages 3 months to Crawlers. The class builds on Little Book Club’s mission to nurture the love of learning right from the start with books, songs and sensory activities. Do you have a spacious basement? Shared Building Room? Backyard? Grab a group of friends and tell us where to be! We are now offering our Little Book Club classes in the same format that you love, as a private class in your home or other convenient location of your choosing.
