January Newsletter

Happy January, Connections Families!

It is hard to believe that the school year is already (or almost) halfway over! As always, fall semester saw Connections students growing, learning, and challenging themselves to achieve academic success. We are so proud of the work our tutors and students are doing!

January is all about new things, and our biggest “new thing” at Connections is the option to pay your invoices by credit card. Starting January 1, we are partnering with Vantiv, a division of 5/3 Bank. This system allows you to securely save your credit card information, making it a quick, easy and safe way to pay your monthly invoice. If you’ve been using PayPal, we encourage you to switch to this service instead. We know that families bend over backwards and rearrange schedules to make tutoring happen each week; we don’t want the invoicing process to take any more of your time. We are piloting this service for the remainder of the school year, if it is successful we will continue offering this option as we move forward.  As always, please feel free to contact us if you have any questions about the company or the process. We’ve been working with them behind the scenes for several months now, and we are confident you’ll be impressed.

We’ve also been busy building relationships with local graduate programs and recruiting their best and brightest students as tutors. Please stop by the website, check out our blog, and read about our new staff members; our growing roster of tutors will be updated throughout the month of January. Demand for tutoring services continues to be high. While we are excited to be growing, we actually have a waiting list in some subject areas. If you are thinking about seeking a tutor for your son or daughter, or if you know your child will need one later in the semester, you might want to contact us now to ensure availability.

For those of you with older children, please remember that we offer ACT support. While the test is offered year-round, many students opt to take it for the first time in the spring of their junior year. If you want to make sure your child is prepared for the content and structure of the ACT, please contact us today.

Finally, don’t forget that we offer study skills tutoring in addition to almost all academic subjects and levels. If your child needs support, we can help.

Thank you for being a loyal part of our customer family, and thank you for joining us in our new things. As always, we are grateful to be a part of your child’s success!

Thank you,

Your Connections Tutoring Team
