Fall Newsletter and Updates

Hello Connections Families! It’s hard to believe, but most of our students are already a quarter of the way through the school year. Where did first quarter go? The coming months are busy ones, and we want to share some new services we’ll be providing, along with some options coming in the future.

Most schools are rapidly approaching their first round of parent/teacher conferences, and we want to make sure those conferences are beneficial to you and your children. If you’d like to meet with us before the conference takes place, we can help you craft questions, choose the wording for your concerns, and generally get you ready to enter the conference prepared. Please contact us if you are interested in a consultation.

The start of second quarter also means that midterms are approaching. Even though they might feel like the distant future, now is the time to start planning and preparing. Our tutors can teach your child study skills, help him or her with information that is difficult, and even design a battle plan to make sure they have time to study everything they need to cover. If you’re interested in this service, we recommend contacting us as early as possible to ensure tutor availability.

Finally, we are excited to announce that we’ve launched a partnership with Greg Faulhaber, math teacher and department head at Cincinnati Country Day School. While we’ve been referring families to him for several years, he will now be working directly with Connections to offer a complete ACT preparation course.  He is an experienced and respected teacher.  Greg has taught for 20 years and he has been providing targeted ACT support for the last five years. We’re thrilled that more Connections families will be able to benefit from his expertise. Please contact Amanda for more information on ACT prep.

Thank you, as always, for allowing us to be partners in your child’s success. And thank you for referring friends and family to us. Please let us know if we can be of assistance in any way.

Thank you,

Amanda
